So it's very nice if you're planning automobile engineering as your career! Automobile engineers may get a salary around 35k-50k rupees or 70k -150k rupees per month based upon your qualifications, like if you've done B. Tech then you probably get 35k-50k but if you've done by M.Tech also then you will receive a good income (70k-150k) for sure and in case you have more qualifications then you can easily expect your annual package up to 3 Crores and how much experience you have also plays a very important role. So, This is all about Automobile Engineering in India.

If we talk about other countries such as Germany, Japan, USA etc. then you may get higher income offers and it is very obvious as these countries are known as much Developed and Rich countries.

Eligibility to become an Automotive Engineer

The eligibility to become an Automotive Engineer is that the candidate must have passed 12th standard with Non-Medical Stream (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) from CBSE or a recognized board and it will be good if you have appeared for national level engineering entrance exams such as IIT-JEE as it helps you to get recruited more easily.

In India, a large number of people generally go for Mechanical and Civil Engineering which leads to less number of Automobile Engineers and this is also a reason that Automotive Engineers are highly paid in India.
